Who we are

ParcelBee is a brand of Neighbour Express Ltd. (“ParcelBee”, “we”), 1-265 Hood Rd, Markham, ON L3R 4N3, Canada, which runs this website, parcelbee.ca. This policy covers the website. The ParcelBee app (app.parcelbee.ca), where you open an account and buy labels, handles the account and shipment details you enter there; for questions about that information, contact us using the details at the end of this page.

What we collect on this website

• Messages you send us. The contact form opens your own email app with your message filled in. We receive what you send in that email, usually your name, email address, region and message. The website itself doesn’t store the form.
• Quote details. The quote tool sends the postal codes, parcel size and weight you enter to the ParcelBee app to work out prices.
• Analytics, only if you allow it. Google Analytics records the pages you visit, roughly where you are (city level), your device and browser, and how you reached the site. Google Analytics 4 does not store full IP addresses.
• Advertising cookies, only if you allow them. They tell us whether a visit that started from one of our ads led to a sign-up.
• Your cookie choice, kept in your own browser so we don’t ask on every page. It is not sent to us.

How we use it

To answer your enquiry, give you a price, see which pages are useful so we can improve the site, and measure our advertising. We don’t sell personal information.

Cookies

Analytics and advertising cookies stay off until you turn them on. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page; turning them off also removes the ones already set.

Who we share it with

• Google, for the analytics and advertising cookies you allow.
• Alibaba Mail, the email service that receives and stores the messages you send us.
• The company that hosts this website, which receives the technical information any website needs to deliver its pages.
• Authorities, when the law requires it.

Where it is stored

Google, Alibaba Mail and our hosting provider may process information on servers outside Quebec and outside Canada, including in the United States and other countries. Information held there is subject to the laws of those places.

How long we keep it

• Enquiry emails: in our business email (Alibaba Mail) until we delete them.
• Google Analytics data: detailed visit data for 2 months, the standard Google Analytics setting. Reports built from it show totals only and don’t identify anyone.
• Cookies: for the periods in the table above.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and withdraw your consent at any time. Write to us at the address below and we will answer within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or, in Quebec, the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.
